Educational part 

 The gymnasia works according to an advanced syllabus “School – 2001”, worked out in Russia. It is a developing, various-level syllabus, intended for children with different background level. A principle “mini-max” laid in the syllabus as well as a small number of pupils in one class (no more than 12), highly-qualified teachers, who undertake the training in Moscow, enable to make education of any child interesting, affordable, and what is more important – effective.

English

 The teaching of English is performed in compliance with a syllabus for in-depth study for specialized schools. English classes are held every day, that is even greater than the scope of studies in the specialized gymnasia, for this reason, the children complete the program with advance as a rule. Small micro-groups (3-5 pupils) in which they learn the language, and warm and friendly atmosphere accompany children in their studies. It helps to acquire strong and well-realized linguistic skills. Technical means are efficiently used during the studies, such as audible and visual aids that permit to create real language environment. There is a chorus singing songs in English, traditional English holidays, namely Christmas, St. Valentine’s Day, Halloween, children watch feature and animation films in English.

Mathematics and Informatics

 Studies are performed at an in-depths level as per the program of L.G.Pereson. The course is intended first of all to develop logical and abstract thinking that allow dealing with natural and mathematical sciences in future. The program is arranged in an interesting and fascinating manner in a form of a game, helping a child to successfully master it. Apart from that, a principle of “spiral education” laid into the program, permits to acquire well-realized and formed basic mathematical skills, to tackle to problem of mental arithmetic. Supplementing a course of mathematics with a course of computer science a child obtains the basis of information literacy, an ability to orient in large information flows, and algorithmic arrangement of his thinking helps in solving of any vital problems.

The Russian language and reading 

Í Regardless the background level of a child to school the syllabus enables to quickly form the skills of fluent, well-realized reading and literate writing, of calligraphy. For those children, who can read there is a separate set of advanced texts and language exercises. Effectively combining various manners of work the teachers achieve results that exceed the level of the best state-owned gymnasia. A course of Rhetoric supplements the language courses. This subject develops eloquence, skills of monologue, dialogue and political speech, an ability to orient in various language situations.
